GCC: ROSHN becomes 1st developer to earn ISO 9001 Certification
ROSHN, the leading national real estate developer in Saudi Arabia and a giga-project funded by PIF, is making significant progress in raising standards and enhancing services.
It has achieved a groundbreaking accomplishment in the GCC region by becoming the first developer to obtain the ISO 9001 Quality Management certification. This achievement, combined with its recent attainment of the ISO 10002 Customer Satisfaction and Complaints Management certification, brings ROSHN’s total ISO certifications for the first half of 2023 to five.
The ISO 9001 Quality Management certification is a globally recognized standard that establishes a robust framework to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services to customers. On the other hand, the ISO 10002 Customer Satisfaction and Complaints Management certification offers guiding principles for fostering a customer-focused business environment that values feedback and strives to enhance customer satisfaction.

“Our achievement of ISO 9001, 10002, 31000, 37000, and 19650-2 is testament to the fact that we are a world-class developer that continues to evolve in line with global standards and best practices, ensuring that our customers are satisfied and have access to the highest possible quality products and services,” he stated.
According to him, ROSHN’s recent certifications will guide the evolution of the organization’s governance framework in line with its goal of being an industry leader that delivers high-quality products and services, while guaranteeing customer satisfaction.
ROSHN’s latest certifications follow the recent achievement of ISO 31000 and ISO 37000 earlier this month, which provide a framework of standards for good governance and risk management, respectively, noted Grover.
The real-estate developer was also accredited with a BIM Kitemark in accordance with ISO 19650-1:2018 and ISO 19650-2:2018, a certification from the British Standards Institute that recognizes the application of BIM to the design, construction and commissioning of buildings and civil works. ROSHN is the first housing developer in Saudi Arabia to receive such an award.
