Dubai South Properties, a subsidiary of Dubai South, announced the accelerated launch of phase four in their flagship development, South Bay. This move comes after previously released units sold out as well as continuing investor and buyer interest.
The Dhs1.5bn contract for the construction of phases 3, 4, and 5 has been awarded to Al Kharafi Construction Company.
Phase four, targeted for completion in Q1 2027, will offer 138 luxurious villas and mansions. This includes three-, four- and five-bedroom villas along with a limited number of five-to-seven-bedroom waterfront mansions.
South Bay is envisioned as a premier residential community located in the heart of Dubai South’s Residential District. Upon completion, it will feature more than 800 spacious villas and townhouses, alongside more than 200 waterfront mansions.
Residents will enjoy a one-kilometre lagoon, a three-kilometre waterfront promenade with various amenities, and a plethora of leisure facilities. These include cafes, multiple beaches, a clubhouse, fitness centres, lush parks, a shopping mall, a spa, kids’ clubs, waterparks, swimming pools and even a private beach.
South Bay properties in high demand, says Dubai South Properties
“South Bay has garnered immense interest since its launch, with each phase selling out quickly,” said Nabil Al Kindi, CEO of Dubai South Properties. “This rapid sell-out highlights the project’s unique offerings, including its strategic location, modern amenities, and exceptional lifestyle.”
Dubai South Properties also hinted at an upcoming project catering specifically to the demand for high-quality apartments within Dubai South.
“This new development promises an elevated living experience with meticulously crafted luxury finishes and thoughtfully designed amenities. We will continue with our well-studied approach of launching projects that add value to our discerning customers and we are confident that our new development will create huge interest among investors.” Al Kindi added.
Beyond South Bay, Dubai South will include a soon-to-open British curriculum school, public parks, sports courts, retail shops, a hypermarket, a mosque, a petrol station, and a public bus route connecting the district to the Expo Metro station.
Currently more than 25,000 residents call the Residential District home, enjoying its distinctive lifestyle and numerous amenities.
